The Zambia College of Pensions and Insurance Trust (ZCPIT) is pleased to announce the introduction of the Motor Assessor’s Course, the first training of its kind to be conducted by any institution in Zambia and the sub region (excluding South Africa)

Over the years, investors in the motor and insurance market looking to enter the Zambian market have tended to look to the services of professionals from other markets over our own home grown professionals.  This course therefore is an appropriate response in addressing some of the challenges the motor services industry has since been faced with over time.

Participants will gain knowledge in various aspects relating to various modern types of techniques and current, best industry practice among other key modules that make up the entire training programme.

The programme profile is outlined as follows:

Assignment Objective

  • Ensure that every trainee in the collision repair process, current and future has the necessary knowledge and skills relevant to their profession
  • Develop and deliver technical training to practitioners in all areas of motor assessment
  • Bridge the gap between the old and new repair methodologies
  • Stimulate competition and reduce monopolistic work attitudes

 Course Objective:

  • Equip the candidates with various modern types of repairs
  • Introduce ethics and professionalism in motor assessment
  • Cost-saving measure techniques and know-how in motor assessment
  • Changes in repair methodologies and technology
  • Equip the candidates with various roles in motor assessment

The training will be offered as part of the industry benchmark for practising professionals such as are in Insurance Broking Firms, Transport Officers, Insurance Claims Officers, Underwriters, Motor Assessors, and related operatives, Risk Managers and all professionals seeking additional appraisals in the motor assessment.

ZCPIT is therefore pleased to invite key members of staff in your organization to enrol in the first training program to be held at our Lusaka Campus  from 14th-15th April,2021.

The Motor Assessor’s Course will not only enhance the practitioner’s knowledge, but will give local practitioners recognition in the country and sub-region.

The cost for this 2-Day intensive Programme is being offered for K3,000.00 per participant. Each participant will receive an Attendance Certificate, besides the training materials. Furthermore, the program can be run as a customized in-house training and is available on request.

We are available at your earliest convenience to discuss this training opportunity further should this be necessary. Herewith, attached the Registration Form for your registration.

We look forward to your continued support in all our training programmes.
